Welcome!

Welcome to the Covenant Fellowship Reformed Presbyterian Web Site. We are a Christian community that meets together in Pittsburgh about 10 miles from downtown and 5 miles from the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon Universitiy.

Our purpose as a congregation is to live for the glory of God and to exhibit His love to others in works of ministry and service. We encourage each other to pursue a deep spiritual relationship with God and to exhibit obedience and vitality in every aspect of life, including marriage, family, education, employment, recreation and the church. We accomplish our purpose through worship, friendships, nurture, service and evangelism.

Everyone is welcome at our worship services. We dress comfortably and welcome visitors. Our worship is a blend of formality and informality. In the worship service we take requests for prayer and pray about them. We read the Bible. The pastor brings a message from the Bible. We sing the Psalms from the Bible. Sometimes we eat lunch together after worship and then pray. Other times we have worship in the evening. And still other times we get together primarily just to sing praise and to tell each other what God has been doing in our lives.

Children are welcome and are an important part of the congregation. Once a month there is a special message for them during the worship service. There are Bible classes for all ages before the worship service, and once every summer we have Vacation Bible School.

Throughout the week at various times and locations we have Bible Studies and prayer groups for adults.

If you are not part of a community of God’s people, we hope you will come and join with us in worshipping and praising God and allow us to get to know you.
